MyShadowProductions #37 - San Miguel de Allende Day 2

Hola again!

I feel a little weird about labeling by Day # but haven’t had any other ideas pop up yet.

Got a good night sleep and did some more exploring on “familiar” streets as well as new ones, new to me that is.

The famous “Jardin” (Garden, village square) is still closed because of COVID concerns bu I walked by it today and will get some photos a different day.

A larger park, Parque Benito Juarez is open and what a pleasure to walk through and sit and listen to birds (don’t hear birds, other than crows, in Denver).

Also, basketball courts, not fenced in and locked. More importantly, people actually playing basketball later in the day and sometimes at all four hoops no less.

This is a quick movie/video of a coach and team practicing. They didn’t stop the whole hour that I sat and watched. They mixed in dribbling drills, pass, pick and roll, jump rope, defensive drills and shooting drills, pretty neat to hear and see!!

The following is a movie/video of random photos during today’s walks:

That’s it for tonight, I am tempted to wear my Converse High Tops tomorrow and see if I can find a basketball :)

    1. Lows about mid 50’s and highs mid 80’s. Low humidity though, so not too bad, similar to Denver summers.
San Miguel de Allende is at about 6000 feet elevation.

  3. The town looks nice and the art work is really interesting. Are there many people in the town?

    1. The population is about 140,000.
There are people everywhere in some spots and sparse in others.
Most of tourists are Mexican but there are quite a few Gringo tourists and expats living here.
