Hola from San Miguel de Allende in the state of Guanajuato in Mexico!
Not a joke, I finally decided to make the trip, after the obligatory COVID vaccination process.
It has been a long day of traveling:
2:45-3:30 am Uber from apartment to Denver International Airport (I was there earlier than needed :)
5:20 (MT) - 8:15 am (Central Time) United flight to Houston International Airport
3.5+hour layover
12:10 to 2:25 pm United Flight to Queretaro, MX Airport
2:45 to 4:00 pm Taxi to Posada la Casita hotel in San Miguel de Allende.
Here are a few photos from the trip and my first short walk basically looking for something to eat close by:
I wasn’t very adventurous with food tonight, opted for fresh roasted chicken and cole slaw from a stand a block down the Calle (street).
Well, I am going to check out the rooftop here at the hotel and hopefully after sunset, get a good night sleep, zzzzzz!
