Happy March everyone!!
More Portugal in a minute, but I know you are all on the edge of your seats waiting for news about the Tulips at Garfield Park Conservatory :)
Well, there is good news on 2 fronts:
Outside, the Tulips have just broke through the surface in hopes of warmer days:
Inside, the blooms are full of color:
Back to the Portugal trip. On February 1, 2025 I did a Day Trip by Train from Portimão to Lagos, about a 20 minute ride to the west.
The last Post was a great way to end January and Lagos was definitely a great way to start February. Once again, I think being there in the Low Season was a blessing. You might see later in my Videos that along the wooden walkways that follow the coast there are a lot of “trails” in the vegetation that may be a problem to address in the near future? But, maybe not, all I know is that there are plenty of places to walk/hike/stroll around Lagos.
The Lagos Day was a 2 Video day:

Click Here for Walking the Coast of Lagos.
When I went through the pictures I realized that I ate in a restaurant 2 times that day, the only time that happened the whole trip :)
Late that afternoon and again the next day, Sunday Feb 2, I explored the Praias (beaches) west of Praia da Rocha. Each time there was a beautiful sunset along with the endless changing views of the cliffs, rock formations, waves and the “light” changing as the sun moved. It was cool to see the Gulls being active as well.
If I can’t find a Wallpaper picture from that group of photos I am blind :)
Sometimes the skies are pretty cool here in Aurora as well, like this Sunrise:
Have a Great Day/Week !!
P.S. Did the time change this morning surprise you? It did me :) Guess I need to pay more attention :)
Great pics and video! Time change was a surprise 2 days ago. I googled it twice before I believed it was really this weekend!
