MyShadowProductions #23 - RTD-Denver - Art-n-Transit #3

This post includes the W Line and the G Line.

The W Line goes west from Union Station to the Jefferson County Government Center in Golden.

It’s a little strange that there isn’t a more direct connection with the Golden Downtown area but I am sure politics and money and land acquisition played big parts in the final location of the RTD stations. (I have learned there is a smaller shuttle bus called FlexRide that leaves the JeffCo Government Center and makes a loop through Golden. In addition, the RTD 16 bus can be boarded in Denver and the light rail Oak Station to get to Downtown  Golden.)

The G Line goes a little northwest from Union Station to Arvada and Wheat Ridge. The G stands for Gold and I believe one of the original gold strikes in the area.

The following movie/video includes the Art Installations #41 to #58:

The next movie/video has random photos along the G and W Lines:

Please let me know if you want any of the Art Installations or random photos posted individually from the videos, I can easily do that.

Remember the photo of MyShadow that was very long due to the low early sun and the ground sloping down? Well, the following photo includes MyShadow, can you see it?
Photo was taken from the train platform that is approximately 30 + ft higher than the pavement where the mini MyShadow is :)

See you soon with #4 in this series, the N Line :)
