MyShadowProductions #57 - Clear Creek Canyon Park

 Hi again!

Yesterday and today, I took advantage of a few beautiful fall days with a high near 80.

I took the RTD 16 bus into Golden to Parfet Park and then walked along the Clear Creek Trail to the Gateway Trailhead for access to the newly opened section of the Peaks to Plains Trail that extends west from Golden.

I must admit, it is a confusing area for me and the Trail maps posted in the area are quite a lot to digest (in my opinion).

It is all part of Clear Creek Canyon Park and that is where I walked/hiked.

I hiked the Peaks to Plains Trail, The Grant Terry Trail and the Welch Ditch Trail (Part of it is a reconstructed water flume that served as explained below):

Nearby Lookout Mountain appears to be a great spot for hang gliders and paragliding, look closely for one in the following photo:

Back in the Midwest for a few days in Oswego, Illinois.

You might think I am crazy, but nice to feel the humidity and fresh air without the wildfire smoke.
