MyShadowProductions #10 - Day Trip #1 - Denver to Vail

Hey everybody, been a while, but some of the photos in the movie/videos might be worth the wait.

On Monday I went to Vail via the Bustang bus from Union Station in Denver. Left my apartment at 6:15 am, short walk and RTD bus to Union Station and Bustang bus left at 7:00 am. The bus was limited to 50% capacity with single seating, 22 passengers I think. We arrived in Vail around 9:30 am after a small delay on the way.

While in Vail, I did a lot of walking, took Gondola One to mid mountain, hiked The Meadows Loop (2.6 miles), walked the Gore Valley Trail and went to the Betty Ford Alpine Gardens in Ford Park.

MyShadow had to check the trail map because signage was a little lacking ;)

The alpine gardens there are either the highest or second highest Botanic Gardens in the world, depending on which source you choose on the internet.

The following view caught my eye while hiking The Meadows Loop.

Hope you enjoy the following two movie/videos!

The bus left Vail Transportation Center a little before 4 pm and arrived at Union Station around 6:20 pm.
I walked home from there and was back at the apartment a little before 7pm :)
Along the route from Union Station to Vail Transportation Center (and from there to Grand Junction), the bus stops at The Federal Center, Idaho Springs and Frisco.
